Wow, thank you so much for the praise. It means so much, especially considering I've always thought scene descriptions were my biggest weakness! :)

I confess I've often used the "unnecessary breath" trope -- but in this instance, I thought it would be more effective to reverse it. Since Angel doesn't need to breath, he can't be struck breathless, but rather the opposite. I'm happy it was effective.
