TUESDAAAAAAAAY!

WTF? Are you fucking serious with this shit? This guy should lose his job. Talk about fearmongering! I guess we're not done with this shit after all, huh? Can't win the election, so compare the president elect to Hitler. You know who was a whole hell of a lot closer to fascist policies? BUSH. Squashing free speech, expanding executive privelege to the point that he is practically a dictator, not the president of a democracy; the casual use of torture as an every day interrogation technique... need I go on?

Shut up, you right wing freak job. Who exactly is supposed to protect our shores now that YOUR president sent our entire National Guard into an endless illegal war based on LIES, hm?

So, for the first time in years, I have 2 months of a paid account here at LJ. I'm sad that the community didn't migrate to IJ on a permanent basis, but the fact is, a new company owns LJ now, and my friends and fandoms are all still here. And dammit, I'm an actual junkie for icons. I managed with however many you get with a plus account for a while, but now I'm posting more again... I NEED MORE ICONS. I need a book icon, and holiday icons and B/A and Angel and and and and...

So, to my shame, I spent $5 of my incredibly skimpy income last month so I could have more icons. I am appropriately ashamed. Now LOOK AT MY ICONS! WHEEE! *G*

I'm incredibly grumpy today. See what I was saying about Tuesday? The writing hasn't been going well today, TV wasn't very satisfying, I'm hungry for something, but I can't figure out what it is and don't really have the money to spend if I wanted to try and figure it out.

I think I need to have my meds adjusted, man. I should have more good days like yesterday, less icky ones like today, and there shouldn't be THAT quick of a change.

Hey, you know the best way to honor Vets?

End war once and for all.

Barring that? How about making sure they have decent health care, housing, the basic necessities of life. Make sure they get the counseling they need for psychological issues. Help them find jobs. Make sure their families are taken care of while they're on active duty.

I'm grateful to those who gave and give their lives in service to their country, no matter how I feel about the government or the war itself. You do your jobs and you do them well, so I have the right to sit here and bitch about the government. Thank you.

NaNo Stuff for Today - DAY ELEVEN

I honestly didn't think I was going to make my words today -- the scene just did not want to come the way the one I wrote yesterday did. But, somehow, I padded it with enough superfluous adjectives and adverbs that i went over.
