Did I mention Supernatural yet? Yeah. Heh.

Blame it on thenyxie. It's all her fault, and has absolutely nothing to do with Jensen Ackles' delicious, pouty cherub lips that I can't stop thinking about oh no. Or his sexy swagger. Or the crooked grin. Or the way his eyes well up, or the way he totes a gun, or his bow legs, or his metal addiction.

All day for the past few days I've been asking myself things like I am right now. Like, "Do I really need to watch Grey's Anatomy? I mean, I can't stand whatserface and McDouchebag, and I can satisfy my compulsion to find out what happened by reading recaps, so... why don't I keep watching SPN until Smallville?"

And now I'm totally doing it. I can't look away!

I was a good girl and tore myself away from the TV long enough to go pick up my meds and get my blood work done this afternoon, so yay me! I think I deserve a reward. Oh, hey! Here's Supernatural Season 2! What are the chances? *G*

Also, I am addicted to Diet Pepsi Max. It all started when they pulled out of sponsoring LJ...

Saw my cardiologist today. At least there's ONE health area where things are going okay! I have an arythmia, but it's minor, and I haven't had any problems since I was in the hospital last year. So I don't need to go back to see him until NEXT year. Which is sort of too bad, since he's one of my favorites.

I think I've mentioned The Daily Bite before -- it's a newsletter about ways to be green, both big and small. Today's issue was about bio-fuels, which is a hot topic right now in my area (well, Vermont, actually. I FINALLY saw something about the Jena 6 on NBC. I think this is the first time! But the fact that the authorities and politicians in the town are STILL insisting that there's nothing wrong is... mind boggling. NBC did mention that bloggers were behind the exposure of the case, but they made it sound like only minority bloggers have been following the story. That's too bad, because I've seen ALL KINDS of people, including here in fandom, talking up the case and exposing people to the fact of continuing racial injustice in the U.S. The national news makes it sound like a black issue -- it's not, or at least, not only. It's a HUMAN issue. We should ALL care, no matter our color, religion or national origin, about the misapplication of justice and abuse of power in the U.S. and around the world!
