Get Angel(us) Laid!
Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel

About the Character: Angel is the original vampire with a soul, cursed by gypsies with a conscience and driven to do good and make the world a better place. He began his fictional existence as a legendary monster, but became the lover of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Forced to leave her, he moved to Los Angeles to continue the good fight, and saved the world many times in his own right, sometimes one soul at a time.

Why he/she needs to Get Laid: Angel's curse had a loophole -- if he has a moment of perfect happiness, he loses his soul. He didn't discover this loophole until after he made love with Buffy for the first time -- and for years afterward avoided any intimacy with women for fear of losing his soul again. In the course of five seasons, he got laid only a couple of times, poor guy!

Okay, I'm back to watching my Top Shelf movies. And to avoid any asshattery on my part (for example, standing in front of the cabinet for an hour deciding what to watch, then just ending up watching Holy Grail or Firefly again anyway), I am watching them in the exact order upon which they appear on my shelves. I just finished POA, so the next is either Star Wars (the FUCKED ALL TO SHIT "new" versions of the original trilogy) or Gone With the Wind, which is on top of Star Wars.

Shit, I just defeated my whole "in order" thing. Okay, I'm really not in the mood for GwtW tonight, so Star Wars it is.

Later: I watched Star Wars... or rather, let it un in the DVD player while I did other things, and I have to say, I'm just not in the mood for it. So I'm ditching the idea of watching the whole trilogy, and giving some thought to watching OMwF.

Or possibly Firefly again.

I finally did it -- I reduced my endless icon collection at LJ down to 6. It required ruthlessness and blatant favoritism, and I may change my mind about my choices in the future, but for now, there it is. *sigh* Damn you, LJ, for turning out to be such a bastard.

And speaking of exodus, which leads to shiny new homes: There are rumors going around now that Permanently Insane accounts are going to be closed shortly. *cries* I REALLY want one, but it's going to take me months to save my pennies to get one. I really love this place, and I really want to stay, but there's just no way I can do it right now. *sigh*
